TATIANA THE CHERRY

MEET TATIANA

It started
with a song.

I’m Tatiana Green, professionally known as Tatiana Cherry and TatiTheCherry—a singer, rapper, creator, and recovery advocate.

Music has been part of my life since I was three, when my father taught me Spanish lullabies and I would sing them back to him. Rap came into my life in a different way: freestyling in the car on the way home from dinner. My whole family was laughing in surprise, telling me how difficult freestyling was—but for me, it flowed effortlessly.

Tatiana the Cherry brings those sides of me together: the artist, the personal brand, and the recovery advocate.

THE MUSIC

Rap. Pop.
My own voice.

My music spans rap and pop, with songs that explore addiction and recovery alongside other parts of my creative expression.

RECOVERY & ADVOCACY

Finding
my voice.

Recovery is part of my story, and it has shaped both my music and what I want to do with my voice.

I survived addiction and experiences that nearly took my life. Music became an important part of finding my way forward—a place to express myself and give words to experiences that can be difficult to talk about.

My songs explore addiction, recovery, and the life around them. Those experiences matter to me, but so do the other sides of who I am: a singer, a rapper, a creator, and someone still growing.

Through my music and advocacy, I want to help challenge the stigma surrounding addiction and recovery. Giving back to young people facing addiction or mental health struggles is a long-term goal close to my heart.

Beyond music, my work includes Onward Forever, which supports individuals and families navigating addiction and mental health challenges through recovery coaching, treatment referrals, interventions, and family support.

I also developed the website for Natalie Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to educating young people and students about addiction and mental health, promoting recovery, and connecting them with support and resources. These projects reflect my commitment to helping others find understanding, hope, and a way forward.

I’m sharing my story because I know how much it can matter to hear someone say, “I’ve been there.” I hope my voice can help someone feel less alone.

A FAMILY MEMORY

Why “Cherry”?

The name has roots in a childhood memory.

My grandma owned London Squire, a restaurant on Cross Bay Boulevard in Queens. My little sister and I used to sneak behind the bar and eat maraschino cherries straight out of the jar.

Eventually, Grandma or Grandpa Tony would catch us: “Stop eating the cherries out of the jar!” And there we’d be, with cherry juice dripping down our faces, completely giving ourselves away.

That memory is the personal connection behind Maraschino and the Cherry name. It’s a little piece of my childhood—my sister, my grandparents, and the sweetness we could never resist.

BEHIND THE NAME

Brand history

Tatiana Green created and owns the Facebook Business Portfolio formerly named Maraschino. Maraschino was the name used for this portfolio and its associated digital presence, rather than a separate company. Tatiana Green and Tatiana Cherry refer to the same person.
